Refund policy

This policy explains how cancellation, statutory withdrawal rights, and possible refunds are handled for Immowiser paid plans. It complements our AGB and applicable German/EU consumer law. Quick answers are available in Refund FAQ.

1. Regular cancellation (in account)
Cancellation in the account area ends renewal at the end of the already paid billing period. Access remains active until period end. This is a non-immediate cancellation and does not automatically trigger a refund for time already provided.

2. Statutory withdrawal right (consumers)
Where legally applicable, consumers may have a statutory withdrawal right. If access to digital services starts during the withdrawal period after explicit request/consent, compensation for already provided services can be retained to the extent permitted by law.

3. Billing errors and duplicate charges
Proven technical overcharges (for example duplicate charges caused by payment processing errors) are corrected. Corrections can be made as full/partial refund, credit, or invoice adjustment, depending on the case.

4. No-refund baseline for used subscription periods
Outside mandatory legal rights and confirmed billing/provider errors, refunds for partially used periods are generally not granted. This helps ensure predictable pricing and stable service operations.

5. Taxes and invoice treatment
German/EU VAT rules apply where required; your official receipt in the billing area is the binding document. If a refund is approved, tax handling follows invoicing rules in force at that time.

6. How to request a review
Submit a request through our contact form with your account email, invoice/receipt reference, and short reason. We review requests case-by-case and respond with next steps.

Note: This page applies in addition to mandatory statutory consumer rights under German and EU law.
